Twenty Years In. Two More Helping Others Out.
Richard Schott served seven years in the Marine Corps and thirteen in the Army, retiring as a Sergeant First Class. He spent his last two years of federal service working inside the Fort Riley transition office, counseling Soldiers on what comes next — the same work he does now for anyone who asks, veteran or not.

A table, two chairs, and a room full of transitioning Soldiers and local job seekers. We handle employer recruitment, advertising, setup, food vendors, and social media coverage on the day. You show up and meet people. One job fair can fill a room. I invite from a network of 1,684 employer, school and community contacts, and the 10 September 2026 fair sold 90 tables.

SkillBridge Program Build
I spent two years in the Fort Riley transition office. I’ll build your DoD SkillBridge program with you — the training plan, the hiring rule people misread, and what commanders look for before they approve a Soldier. You submit your own application to DoD.
